It's a bittersweet experience to know that baring a miracle from God, David will not personally perform again. I say "bittersweet" because David's memory difficulties due to the snowmobile accident in 2001 that have taken him offstage have also helped us focus more on the Legacy of his 27 year ministry and the blessing of partnering with other ministries.
One such ministry that is having an incredible impact nationwide is The Legacy Institute. Through one of those God-things, Legacy President Carrie Abbott happened by David's book "The Great King." God impressed her that David's story was what she should use for one of the chapters of her K-12 curriculum. She says David captures God as Father and King and that is the focus of their chapter. We feel very privledged to be part of this much needed curriculum!
