No More Darkness
David Shelton Ministries
is pleased to introduce
Artist Associate Tonya Nichols
as Mary Magdalene in

"No More Darkness"

Redeemed from the elements of darkness, Mary walks joyfully in the light of her Savior throughout His ministry. Encamped at the cross, she is anguished as death extinguishes
the light shining from the eyes of her Lord.  Returning to an empty tomb, she is awestruck
to discover Him a resurrected King in radiant splendor.

Darkness is banished, freeing us all to live
in the eternal light of the Father.

My family and I want to give a huge thank you to Tonya for her beautiful portrayal of Mary Magdalene!  We were moved to tears on many occassions and feel so blessed to have been witness to her ministry.  It was particularly difficult for me, as I had to sing after the drama concluded, and was so emotionally touched I wasn\'t sure I could make it through the song.  Thank you again, Tonya for sharing your God given talents with us and we pray that your ministry continues to touch many people in need.

Fifteen years ago, Tonya’s faith during a severe family crisis made me consider my need for God, and I was saved at a camp where she was a counselor.  Since then, I have made many choices that led me away from God, and have often felt lost in my own sin.  When I heard that Tonya was going to be in town performing a new show, “No More Darkness,” I wanted to attend and see if she was still the same person I looked up to in my youth.  I had no idea that her character, Mary Magdalene, would break my hard heart open again, and show me the way out of the darkness.  I came away certain that there are none so lost that Christ can not rescue, and I now see God as a Father who loves me enough to forsake His own Son, so that I will never be abandoned.  Thank you for sharing the light.

Pastor's Perspective
Tonya shared the dramatic story of Mary Magdelene with our church on Easter weekend 2006. The theme was From Darkness to Light. Her presentation was powerful and inspiring. Her realistic portrayal of the struggles, set backs and eventual triumph of Mary Magdelen struck a responsive chord with many in the audience, who were moved to tears. I would highly recommend Tonya’s services. She is very professional and easy to work with! We will certainly have her back.
