"Living Water" - Testimony of the Woman at the Well

Tonya as the Woman at the Well in her Living Water Performance!  (Reviews below)

"Twice I have had the thrill of hearing and seeing Tonya portray the "Woman at the Well."  It is one of the most moving and powerful stories of rejection, acceptance, forgiveness, and becoming an evangelist for Christ I have ever seen.  I can't encourage you enough to have Tonya at your event or program. You will be thrilled and moved to tears!"

Jim Gwinn, President (Retired) of CRISTA Ministries

The woman who met Christ at the Samaritan well returns to Sychar telling every one she meets about the man who is still resting there.  Following the John 4:1-42 text with additional character commentary, the woman excitedly shares how her empty life has been challenged by a man who offers to fill her with “living water.”  A highlight of the performance is the telling of the man’s willingness to break through social barriers of culture, race, gender, and religion to reach out to an empty life.

The performance ends as she invites her audience to join her back at the well to "meet Him for yourself!"  While the script can stand alone as an encouragement to refresh mature followers of Christ, it is also a powerful platform from which the host pastor can invite those who are weary from thirsting to accept the only One Who can meet that thirst. "Could This Be The Messiah?" is also helpful for follow on teaching for those who have newly met the Messiah.  Performance runs 15  minutes with an additional Living Water talk and testimony from Tonya's experience in NYC during 9-11.

Just wanted to provide some feedback regarding Tonya Nichol's "Woman at the Well" presentation today at our church.  In two words, Brilliantly amazing!  Sprinkled amongst the 400 or so people were many kids, some quite young, yet all were immediately captivated by her drama! And that's not easy to do!  So well done - I had just gone through that passage with a group the previous day, but she really made it spring to life. I could feel the emotions - the shame, bitterness and hopelessness, coexisting with the desperate hope of cleansing, of salvation. And then the belief imparted by one glance from the water-giver. Could not have been done any better.
