David Shelton is a child of God, who for three decades has used his dramatic gifting as a singer, actor, storyteller and mime to share the love of God. After committing his life to Jesus Christ in 1978, he began directing his talents toward serving Him. David's educational background includes three years of study at Oklahoma State University and one year at Marymount College in Salina, Kansas. Maintaining an extensive and broad repertoire for 27 years, David performed at a variety of venues including churches, church camps and conferences, homeless shelters, hospitals, nursing homes and prisons, chapels for Christian Schools, professional athletes, and the staff at Focus on the Family. David also directed mime troupes in Athens and Corinth, Greece and on the streets of Southern Italy. His book, The Great King, was endorsed by best-selling Christian Author John Trent, and was released in 2003. Many of David's performances are available on tape, CD and DVD. David's most well-known presentation, "The Innkeeper's Dream", has been broadcast on both radio and television including "Focus on the Family." "Jonah" and "Elijah" have also been broadcast by Focus on the Family and and "The Great King" has been on television in Maine. Although no longer taking stage himself, David, his wife and daughter Jessica have spent the last 3 years training up a new generation of Christ-centered artists.
